Spring Texas is a census-designated place in Harris County United States, that is part of the Houston–The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan region. While the name “Spring” is commonly used to refer to a large part of northern Harris County and a smaller area of southern Montgomery County, the original town of Spring, presently known as “Old Town Spring”, is situated at the intersection of Spring-Cypress and Hardy roads and covers only about 1 square kilometer.
Conroe, Klein, and Spring, the three separate public school districts in the Spring region, are noted for their award-winning, high-quality education. In the Spring area, you’ll find Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indian restaurants. Spring Texas is fortunate in that it is one of the safest cities in the state. Its violent crime rate is 7.2 percent lower than the national average, despite a 1% increase in property crime. Spring Texas is the 58th biggest community in Texas, with a population of 62,559 people and 45 neighborhoods. Spring, on the other hand, comprises both very wealthy and poor citizens.

Elm & Magnolia, seasonal New American food, craft beer, and wine are served at this simple, comfortable café in a converted home. Diners at semicovered picnic tables may get wood-smoked BBQ favorites from a trailer in, CorkScrew BBQ. Lynn’s Table Spring Texas, in a cozy, homey café, you’ll find fudge, handcrafted ice cream, and American lunch staples. Rudy’s Spring Texas, where brisket, ribs, and sides are served in a no-frills cafeteria atmosphere with inside picnic tables. Wunsche Bros. Cafe & Saloon, this 1902 cafe, which is said to be haunted, serves American meals with a Texas twist and has a full bar.

Shopping in Spring, TX
Shopping comes easy in Spring Texas because of the many varieties of shops sprawled everywhere. Camille’s Spring Texas is offering vintage apparel and antiques, as well as painted furniture, home décor, and presents. Thad’s and German Gift House are a few of the gift shops in Spring. Globally known Target, offering Home products, apparel, electronics, and other items are available, as well as unique designer collections. Louetta Central is one of the many top shopping malls in Houston, accessible to Spring residents.

Worth mentioning is Old Town Spring. This is an old town comprising over 150 spots (shops, art galleries, restaurants, etc.)
Old Town Spring is located outside the Beltway 8 and just north of the city of Houston. Most of the buildings here are original. Some are over a hundred years old. There are a lot of places here when you want to buy antiques and collectibles. There are also shops for clothing and gifts. The town developed because of the booming railroad business in South Texas. This resulted in industrialization.
The first two-story building in Old Town Spring is still standing today. It is called Wunsche Bros. Saloon. However, when a fire broke, it was temporarily closed.

Schools in Spring, TX
Spring Texas is served by three ISDs. Areas in Conroe Independent School District with Spring addresses have Oak Ridge High School and Grand Oaks High School on the eastern side, and both The Woodlands High School and The Woodlands College Park High School on the western side. Spring Independent School District has Marshall Elementary School, Spring Texas Highschool, Dekaney Highschool. Klein Independent School District with Spring addresses has Klein Oak High School, Klein High School, and Klein Collins High School.
Spring Independent School District, Klein Independent School District, and Conroe Independent School District, and therefore the whole Spring Texas community, are served by the Lone Star College, originally the North Harris Montgomery Community College District. Lone Star College is home to areas in the Cy-Fair ISD. Spring Independent School District and two other K–12 school districts opted to form North Harris County College. In the fall of 1973, the community college district began its operations in the northern hemisphere.
