There is also the Gateway Arch, a well-known and iconic structure that represents St. Louis and is serving as a symbol of the Western Expansion. Many visitors take the elevator to the viewing platform which allows them to see spectacular views of the city and it is 630 feet high. The arch is located in Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park and can be seen from anywhere in the city. 

In addition to its parks and green spaces, Missouri Texas also offers a variety of community events and activities throughout the year. Some of the most popular events include the annual Missouri City Crawfish Festival and the Missouri City Jazz Festival. These events provide residents opportunities to come together and celebrate the community spirit that makes Missouri City such a special place to live.

Students in Missouri Texas can also attend two highly-regarded private schools,  St. Laurence Catholic School and Logos Preparatory Academy.
