Community living is both challenging and wonderful. Since humans are social creatures, they all depend on one another, despite the differences in culture and beliefs. Living, working, studying, and having fun together help people form solid ties and feel a sense of belonging in a community.

Sharing land, spaces, or material possessions is not the only aspect of living in the Lakeland Village community. The members of this community can also open up to one another in settings of mutual trust and support. So if you are looking into living in a warm and nourishing community, Lakeland could be the village for you!

A supportive community that welcomes new members!

Bridgeland is a master-planned community with four distinct villages in Cypress, Texas. Lakeland Village, the first of Bridgeland’s four villages, was the first to be made available to the general public. More than 3,000 families were welcomed to Lakeland Village when it first opened in 2006. It served as the hub of Bridgeland’s first ten years.

Residents of Lakeland Village are motivated to maintain a daily connection with nature and one another. Belonging to a community is a great advantage for one’s mental and emotional well-being. An individual’s sense of social connectedness and identity is facilitated by community involvement. It can also offer extra meaning and motivation to everyday life.

In order to better get to know the other members, the Lakeland Village HOA community asks new neighbors if they would be interested in joining the committee.

Functional amenities and a space for you to socialize!

The Lakeland Activity Center, a 6-acre complex with resort-style amenities such as a fitness center with numerous classes, a full kitchen, and conference rooms, is also located in Lakeland Village. A diving well with two platforms, a 6-lane Olympic-sized pool, and a gradual-depth play pool with volleyball nets are also included.

Two 30-foot sky slides and a spray park with fountains and imaginative water toys are additional elements. There is also a pool for little ones where they can enjoy the slides and water games. Festival Park, a 3-acre park with a covered pavilion and chairs, is located next to the activity center.

The 20-acre park’s centerpiece, Lakeland Village Park, is home to a number of first-rate amenities, including a skate park, basketball court, heated lap pool open all year, canoe/kayak launch with boats available for use, fishing pier, spray park, as well as numerous tennis courts, playgrounds, walking trails, and playfields. The fact that there is a fenced dog park with chairs and drinking fountains makes it ideal for dog owners, too.

The fishing pier at Josey Lake, Bridgeland’s largest body of water that runs 3 miles along Hidden Creek, will be appreciated by fishing enthusiasts.
